Carolina Zardenetta Buitrón, 88, of Laredo, Texas, passed away peacefully at Laredo Medical Center on Thursday, June 18, 2015.

Carolina worked for over 25 years at Singer, over 15 years at Cutlery World, as well as devoting a majority of her time in the privacy of her own home where she gave sewing lessons. There is where you could see her true passion for embroidering, making and designing dresses, costumes, fixing uniforms for the Laredo Air Force Base, local schools, dance studios, as well as others who required her sewing talents.  Her gift for sewing was like that of no other.

Carolina is preceded in death by her parents Lino and Nemecia Zardenetta, her loving husband Ricardo J. Buitrón Sr., and her siblings Ernesto Zardenetta and Olivia Zardenetta.

Carolina is survived by her sons: Richard J. Buitrón Jr. (Mary Lou) and Robert E. Buitrón (Dorothy). Grandchildren: Cristina B. Paez (Esteban Jr.), Melissa Buitrón, Amanda Buitrón, Christopher Buitrón, and Noelle Buitrón. Great-Grandchildren: Sofia and Esteban Paez III.

The family will be receiving friends Thursday, June 25, 2015, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services where a holy rosary will be recited at 7:00pm.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015, at the funeral home chapel.  Chapel service will officiate at 10:00am.  Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Dear Richard and Robert: My sisters Eloina Fudge, Josie Cortez and I are saddened to learn of your mom's death. Carito was a sweet lady and our mom, Josefina "La Nena'' and dad, Geuriel Danini, adored her. After our parents moved to San Antonio, they kept in touch with Carito by phone, Sadly, both our parents passed away too. We will always remember your mom's lovely smile and optimism. Carmina Danini
