He is survived by his spouse, Rocio Alba; mother, Concepcion Salazar; siblings, Margarita Escamilla, Oscar (San Juana) Ortiz, Dora Elia (Pedro Reyes) Ortiz, Homero (Yolanda) Ortiz, Maria Elena (Luis) Ortiz and Mario (Liliana) Ortiz; as well as nieces, nephews, other family members and friends that will greatly miss him.

Cremation services will be held at later date.
