I had the pleasure of working with Carlos for 7 years while at BBVA. I always enjoyed my interactions with Carlos and even though we mostly only spoke on the phone, we did meet occasionally when he travelled to Birmingham. Those encounters were always a joy. Carlos was the consummate professional who was also just a genuinely nice person and a very generous soul. I consider myself fortunate to have known him and consider ourselves to be better for having had Carlos in our lives. He leave a hole in our lives with his passing, but also leave a feeling of warmth in our hearts because we had the joy of knowing him in life and that is a blessing. May he rest in peace loved by family and friends
