Carlos “Pollo” Agredano, 64, entered into eternal rest, Sunday, August 10, 2025. Mr. Agredano is a graduate of Martin High School, class of 1981. He served his country with pride in the United States Army Reserve. He dedicated 16 years of his career to the Laredo Police Department.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Norberto Agredano and Francisca G. Agredano; brothers, Norberto Agredano Jr., Arturo Agredano and sister, Ofelia Agredano.
Mr. Agredano is survived by his wife, Thelma Lopez-Agredano; sons, Mario A. Agredano, Armando J. Agredano and Carlos (Ana) Agredano; siblings, Alfredo (+Geraldine) Agredano, Rodolfo (Candy) Agredano, Ricardo (Juany) Agredano, Anna (Elias) Chapa and Paula (Ricardo) Segovia; grandchildren, Brielle Mia Agredano and Bryson Ian Agredano; as well as other family members and friends that will greatly miss him.
The Agredano family will be receiving guests on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. The chapel will reopen at 7:00 am on Friday, August 15, 2025 to depart at 8:30 am for a Funeral Mass at San Luis Rey Catholic Church at 9:00am. Interment will follow to the Laredo City Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Army Honor Guard and American Legion Post 59 Honor Guard.
