Obituary

Bernabe Valdez, 66, entered into eternal rest on, Wednesday, July 7, 2021.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carlos & Carmen Valdez; sister, Carmen Morales.

Bernabe is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years of marriage, Angelica Valdez; children, Angelica M. Adams (Timothy), Dulce J. Montante (Rolando), Erika Y. Crockett (Robert), and Ana Clarissa Ruiz (Edwardo); grandchildren, Aidan Adams, Cristian Adams, Evan Adams, Amelie Montante, Rolando Montante, III, Eduardo Castellanos, Emiliano Castellanos, Oliver Ruiz; siblings, Saturnino “Nino” (Dolores) Valdez, Abel (Orfelinda) Valdez, Rosario (Ignacio) Valdez, Ma. Juanita Gonzalez (Cleofas “Cleo”), Carlos (Ma. Antonieta) Valdez; also survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving guests on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at St. Patrick Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will begin at 9:00 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tim Adams, Rolando Montante, Robert Crockett, Eduardo Castellanos, Emiliano Castellanos, Aidan Adams, Edwardo Ruiz, and Carlos Valdez.
