Beatriz Valdez, 86, entered into eternal rest, Sunday, March 9, 2025.  Mrs. Valdez is preceded in death by her parents, Juan Ballesteros and Olivia Ballesteros; brothers, Juan Jose Ballesteros and Gerardo Ballesteros and mother in law, Josefina Ortegon Valdez.

She is survived by her husband, Vidal Valdez; children, Vidal (Maria De Los Angeles) Valdez, Dina Alaniz, Acidalia (Frank) Schunior, Luis A. (Claudia) Valdez and Sara Monique (Juan) Argais; siblings, Juanita (+Rodolfo) Luna, Alfredo (+Teresa) Ballesteros, Ricardo Ballesteros and  Guadalupe (Lee) McCallister;  as well as grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends that will greatly miss her.

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from the funeral home to San Jose Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 am.  Interment will follow to the Laredo City Cemetery.
