Barbara Martinez Goodman, 59, joined her Lord and Savior on August 3, 2013.
She was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. “Bobbie” as she was fondly known as, had a passion for framing and for her beloved San Antonio Spurs. For anyone who knew her they knew she lived her life for her family especially her six guardian angels, her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Jose Maria and Herminia Sanchez, Roque and Evelia Martinez and her In-Laws: Raymond and Rosalie Goodman. She is survived by her husband; Ronnie Goodman, daughters: Jennie (Rudy Gaona Jr.) Goodman, Michelle (Ramiro) Madrigal; parents: Eduardo & Laura Martinez, grandchildren: R.J. Madrigal, Raymond Madrigal, Rylee Gaona, Ryan Gaona, Rosalie Madrigal, Robert “Blue” Madrigal, Rudy Gaona III; sisters: Laura(Francisco) Garcia, Mary(Esteban) Ayala, Patricia(Temple) Allen, Ana Cristina(Manuel) Tamez, brother: Eduardo(Dolores) Martinez and all her beloved nieces and nephews who she loved dearly, as well as many other loving family members.
Family members will be receiving guest on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Christ Church Episcopal, 2320 Lane St., from 9:00am – 10:30am, funeral service will commence at 10:30am. Interment will follow to the City Cemetery, Jewish Rest Section. Funeral Services are with Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, 4502 Thomas Ave. Laredo, TX 78041. (956)723-3611.
