Baldomero Oswaldo Ortiz, 76 passed away Thursday, September 17, 2009. Mr. Ortiz … He was preceded in death by; parents, Antonio T. and Natividad Ortiz; wife, Beatriz M. Ortiz; brother, Oscar Locadio Ortiz and sister-in-law, Graciela P. Ortiz. He is survived by; children, Natividad (Javier) Mireles, Oscar Baldomero Ortiz, Araceli Piña of Austin, Texas, Oralia Alicia (Jerry) Rangel of Amarillo, Texas, Beatriz Esparza, Jose Luis Ortiz and Rebecca Palacios of North Carolina; 25 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; brothers, Antonio (Socorro) Ortiz, Eduardo Ortiz and Gilberto (Maria Luisa) Ortiz; sister, Arabela (Calixto) Melve and sister-in-law, Maria Del Pilar Vasquez; Nieces, Nephews and other relatives. Mr. Ortiz will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Friday, September 18, 2009 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 19, 2009 from Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services to St. Jude Catholic Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am. Interment will follow to the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services located at 4502 Thomas Ave. in the Medical Center.
