Aurora Jaramillo was called to be with the Lord on January 9, 2022 at the age of 64. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Manuel Jaramillo, Tia Antonia Gonzalez, and sons Alcide Manuel (Michelle Vaughn) Jaramillo, and Noel Alejandro Jaramillo.
Aurora is preceded in death by her Father Paulino Gonzalez Moreno, Mother Petra Cruz De Gonzalez, and Brothers Jose Catarino Gonzalez and Enrique Sepulveda.
She is survived by her siblings Paulino Gonzalez (Maricela Gonzalez) Oneida Gonzalez (Gerardo Gonzalez), Irene Bracamontes (Oscar Bracamontes) Javier Gonzalez (Mayra Gonzalez) Raul Gonzalez (Rosy Garcia), Jesus Gonzalez, and Marco Antonio Gonzalez (Fay Gonzalez).
She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews; Paulina Michelle, Mariel, and Marian Gonzalez, Abraham “Abe” Alvarado, Alejandra “Alex”, Clarissa “Clari”, and Gerardo “Jerry” Jr. Gonzalez, Christian Magallanes, Oscar Jr., Christopher “Chris”, and Kassandra “Kassy” Bracamontes, Javier Gonzalez, Raul Jr., Jackeline, and Paulino Gonzalez, Marco, Kenia, and Gael Gonzalez, and Brenda and Enrique Sepulveda Jr.
She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends. As well as the Staff and Clients at Happy Families, all of whom she deeply appreciated and unconditionally loved.
Since 1994, she devoted herself to the Special Needs community at Laredo State Center/Border Region MHMR working as a Therapist Technician, Accounting Clerk, Accountant, and Service Coordinator. Her life’s work of selflessly serving vulnerable populations led her to be a co-founder of Happy Families, LLC., which opened its doors in 2011. Her generosity and kindness towards others will always be remembered.

A service will be held at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm. A Mass will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church followed by Interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
