Arturo H. Salinas 50 passed away on Friday June 19, 2009 in San Antonio, Texas.Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 23, 2009 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm and a Rosary recited at 7:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral Home, 4502 Thomas Ave.Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 59 and Flag Detail by the United States Navy.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 24, 2009.at 10:00 am at Devine Mercy Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Veteran’s Section in the City Cemetery.He is preceded in death by his grandparents Santos and Magdalena V. Salinas, Pitagoras and Maria K. Flores. He is survived by his parents Arturo and Estrella Salinas, his son Steven Salinas, his siblings, Estrella (Daniel) Lenz, Laura (Duke) Marsh, Sandra (Juan) Ramirez, Octavio (Rosario) Salinas, Hugo Salinas, Jorge (Laura) Salinas, Jaime Salinas, Violeta Salinas, Norberto Salinas, Marina (Ruben) Solis, Linda Salinas, Araceli Salinas, Elsa (Ernesto) Garcia, David Salinas, and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, neices and other family members and friends.Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 59 and Flag Detail by the United States Navy.Pallbearers will be: Arturo Salinas, Steven Salinas, Octavio Salinas, Hugo Salinas, Jorge Salinas, Jaime Salinas, Norberto Salinas, and David Salinas.
