Armandina Garza Ramirez “Mandy” affectionately known as grandma, was called home on June 14, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Laredo, Texas on August 5, 1948, to Jose Angel Garza and Maria Consuelo Garza.
Mandy was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a testament of passion and strength of the human spirit. Her unwavering dedication to her loved ones will leave a mark on generations to come. Mandy lived life with purpose and full of gratitude. Her home was full and thriving with loved ones. Mandy was an avid gardener welcoming sunrises and sunsets as she gave special attention to each plant in her garden. She loved spending time shopping with her girls; she could outwalk them any day. Enjoying the newest and latest fashion trends was something she shared with her daughters and grandchildren. She will tenderly be remembered for the love and time she spent in the kitchen preparing homemade flour tortillas, several types of salsas, atole de arroz, sweet iced tea, and always several main courses followed by pan dulce and coffee. Sundays at Mandy’s home is where she saw the fruits of her labor come to life, where the family gathered to enjoy great food and each other’s company, but not before “saying Grace” which will continue to be our families cornerstone.
As God looks upon her, he is welcoming her saying “Well done thy Good and Faithful servant, well done”. – Matthew 25:23
