Antonio Rodriguez, 59, entered into eternal rest, Saturday, February 11, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Petra Lopez; father, Alfonso Rodriguez; brother, Alfonso Rodriguez Jr.
Antonio is survived by his children, Priscilla Rodriguez (Jose Jimenez), Melissa Rodriguez (Juan Ramirez), Antonio Rodriguez Jr., and Anthony Rodriguez; mother, Enedina Rodriguez; siblings, Nora Rodriguez Vela (Juan Vela+), Thelma Rodriguez Reyes (Juan Carlos Reyes), Emilio Rodriguez (Lydia), and Enedina Rodriguez Salinas (Adan Jr.); grandchildren, Jose Daniel Jimenez, Danielle Jimenez, Isabella Jimenez, Julietta Jimenez, Juan Ramirez Jr., and Joel Ramirez; as well as numerous other family and friends.
The Rodriguez family will be receiving guests on Thursday, February 16, 2023, in the Angelus Chapel at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 11:00 am to 12:45 pm. A Chapel Service will begin at 12:45 pm. Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Antonio Rodriguez Jr., Jose Jimenez, Juan Ramirez, Anthony Rodriguez, Juan Carlos Reyes, Emilio Rodriguez Jr., Emanuel Rodriguez, and Mateo Rodriguez.

Rest in peace, my good friend. Tony was one of my best vendors at border town flea market for almost 30 years. He was a jack-of-all-trades. He would go once or some times twice a week to go buy merchandise in Austin and San Antonio at the Goodwills and Salvation Army. He would fill up a trailer almost 20 feet high and bring it down on HW35 driving back at a slow speed. I was amazed how he never had any serious problems driving back. At one time, he probably had rented 1/5 of the entire market and sold from doors to antiques and anything else he could make money. My condolences to the Rodriguez family.
