

Antonio Luis Zapata Jr., 55, passed away peacefully August 17, 2024, surrounded by family. Tony graduated from Nixon High School in 1987 in Laredo, Texas, and worked in the trucking service industry throughout his life. He will be remembered for his love for motorcycles, spending time outdoors, fishing, camping, attending concerts, arcade games, and enjoyed many hobbies. His personality brought warmth, joy, and laughter to any room he entered.
Tony was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, and husband. He is preceded in death by his father, Antonio Luis Zapata Sr., and his mother, Sara Galindo Zapata.
He is survived by his wife, Diana Elena Galindo; siblings, Yvonne (Georgios) Athanatos and Ramiro Xavier Zapata; his children, Antonio Luis Zapata III, Sarah Yesenia Zapata, Kristine (Robert) Moran, JoAna Galindo; grandson Aiden Flores; nieces and nephews, Joshua (Anna) Garcia, Andrew (Jackie) Garcia, Christopher (Ines) Garcia,Xavier Ramiro Zapata, Dona Sara Zapata; paternal aunt Alice Herrera; cousin Stephanie Kee; maternal aunt and uncle, Hilda Guerrero and Arturo Galindo; maternal cousins, Hector Saldaña, David Saldaña, Cynthia Cuéllar, Anna Molnar, Sara Gonzalez, Victoria Wieters, and Kathryn Galindo; and numerous family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services.
