Obituary

Antonia Amalia Romero, 90, entered into eternal rest on, Tuesday, March 15, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfonso Ponce; parents, Bernardino & Luciana Romero; daughter, Griselda Ponce; grandson, Juan Angel Villanueva; siblings, Antonio Romero, Josefina Romero, Alfredo Romero, and Amalia Romero.

She is survived by her children, Alicia (Rolando+) Flores, Juan A. Ponce; 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other family and friends.

The family will be receiving guests on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A Prayer Service will be officiated at 9:30 am. Cremation will be held at a later date.

When she lived with us, I would dance in front of her bed before school and in the mornings. She laughed and called me a “payaso”, then I was playing with her telling her i wasn’t. After that, she called me her payaso and i will never forget it.
