As a child in Belfast, Anthony survived the Luftwaffe blitz to move to South Texas, following in the geographical footsteps of his legendary elder brother, the late Monsignor Thomas P. “Father Tom” McGettrick in 1966. He later graduated from the University of Texas School of Law, marrying a fellow Longhorn, with whom he then raised 3 kids in Laredo, where he served as erstwhile City Attorney, Assistant City Attorney, and in privateContinue Reading
