Anselmo was preceded in death by his grandfather, Anselmo Montemayor.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Gilberto (Victoria) Montemayor; siblings, Daniel Montemayor, Elizabeth Montemayor, Gilberto Montemayor and Denise Montemayor; maternal grandparents, Julieta (Ruben) Garcia; paternal grandmother, Francisca Vargas; nieces and nephews, Taylor, Roel, Genesi, Joel, Gilbert, Mia, Abby, Victor, Hector Montemayor; cousins, Jose Luis, Vanessa Sosa, Sammy, David, Jonathan, Abigail De Los Santos, Hector Jesus, Angel, Alejandra, Anthony, Roman Montemayor, Jesus Daniel, Vicente, Adrian Martinez, Juan Carlos Jr., Karla Montemayor, Isidro, Selina, Yesenia, Juliana, Marisol, Juan Gilberto Carmona, Jesse and Marisol Garcia. Anselmo will also be dearly missed by numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, June 28, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services. A prayer service will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018, at the funeral home chapel. A chapel service will start at 9:00 am. Interment will follow to the City Cemetery.

My condolences to the Montemayor family, I apologize I could not attend to support you in this time of need. However, my prayers are with you always and I pray for Anselmo to Rest In Peace. Anselmo was a good friend of mine for we were classmates and teammates. Sam was always a person who loved to bring people together and always wanted people to consider him a friend. I considered Sam a brother, because when I was down on myself, or anyone was down on themselves, he was there to help you back up. Anselmo, you will always be missed and cherished for the time we had with you. We love you dawg.

Gilberto & Victoria Montemayor I am so sorry to hear about your son Anselmo. I can only IMAGINE the pain you are going thru. What is helping me with the recent death of my father, is the hope of a resurrection which is written in the Bible at John 5: 28, 29 when it reads: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." My family and I will keep you in our prayers.
