Amada De Los Santos 79, entered into eternal rest, Thursday, June 14, 2012. Mrs. De Los Santos was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed ranching and gardening. Lovingly devoted to her family until the end, she will be forever in our hearts. Mrs. De Los Santos was preceded in death by her husband, Amado, her daughter: Marisela Leticia Garcia, brother: Manuel Hernandez. She is survived by her daughter: Mrs. Rebecca (Jonathon) Smith of Austin, sons: Jorge Armando (Martha) De Los Santos, Amado (Maria Guadalupe) De Los Santos of Laredo, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Also surviving Mrs. De Los Santos are brothers and sisters: Oscar (Victoria) Hernandez of Laredo, Aurelio (Gloria) Hernandez of Laredo, Leandro (Maria Ignacia) Hernandez of Laredo, Francisca (Joel) Hernandez of Laredo, Olivia (Israel) Flores of Laredo, Maria Concepcion (Cresencio) Macias, of Nuevo Laredo, Felipa Ortega Macias of Forth Worth, Maria Guadalupe Rea of Nuevo Laredo and Esperanza (Manuel) Colchado of Nuevo Laredo. Family members will be receiving friends and relatives on Sunday, June 17, 2012 from 5:00pm – 9:00pm, with a rosary recited at 7:00pm at the Fred Dickey Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 18, 2012 at San Luis Rey Catholic Church at 10:00am, followed by interment to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
