Alma C. Ortiz, 71, was called by the Lord to her resting place in Heaven on Saturday, July 13, 2019.
Ms. Ortiz is preceded in death by her parents, Rafael and Carmen Cortez.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Yvette Ortiz, Amalio A. (Lillian) Ortiz and Anissa (Daniel) Ramirez; grandchildren, Kristen R. Botello, Giavonna Botello, Josef Galinzoga, Amanda L. Ortiz, Ryan A. Ortiz and Luke Ramirez; siblings, Doraelva (Manuel) Sandoval, Rosalinda (Armando) Figueroa and Rafael (Anna) Cortez, Jr.; 3 great-grandchildren and other relatives.
The family will receive guests Tuesday, July 16, 2019, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. A funeral mass will start at 10:30 am. Pallbearers will be Amalio Alberto Ortiz, Daniel G. Ramirez, Jose R. Martinez, Angel Garcia, Ramiro A. Ramirez and Martin E. Martinez. Honorary pallbearers will be Rafael Cortez, Jr., Josef A. Galinzoga, Carlo Cortez, Ryan A. Ortiz, Peter Gomez, Jose Luis Garcia and Fernando White.
